Our Story
A women-led family business
Established in 1997 in Deerfield Beach, FL, the Hillsboro Antique Mall (HAM) has been a pillar of the South Florida antiquing community for almost three decades. Founded by partners Renee Scott & Karen Silverman and now operated by their daughters, Christiane Scott & Kira Silverman, the Hillsboro Antique Mall has grown to be South Florida’s largest antique mall. With over 150 unique vendors, HAM is proud to provide high-quality, affordable, and authentic vintage, collectible, and antique merchandise. Whether negotiating a sale to a customer or interacting with our dealers, our main goal is to work together with each individual to make sales at ideal prices which reflect each piece’s history, value, and uniqueness.
Our Business Model
Our business model is based on the success of our vendors. Vendors establish their small business under our roof by renting space, supplying their merchandise and setting their own prices. Our full-time sales team conducts sales on behalf of our vendors, giving vendors flexibility to work in their spaces on their own schedule. We foster a supportive community that shares in each others' expertise and experience. With new merchandise arriving everyday and over 200 unique vendors, there is always a new treasure to find at the Hillsboro Antique Mall.
Our Pricing
Given the unique nature of antiques and collectibles, we are always working to send previously loved treasures to new homes at the most reasonable and affordable prices that reflect the individual value and uniqueness of each piece. Our vendors supply their own merchandise and set their own prices. We do not discount anything $25 or less in our store. Many of our vendors also run sales in their spaces throughout the year, reflecting their best price margin and providing customers a chance at even bigger discounts. Additionally, we encourage negotiation and invite customers to make reasonable offers on higher-end/higher priced pieces; our sales team can then negotiate pricing with customers on behalf of our vendors.
